This is a based bill that ensures the ultra rich pay their fair share. Lawyers are a monopolistic group that artificially freeze out competitors to boost their own profits. The U.S. Supreme Court has recognized that the lawyer guilds are quasi-governmental due to their guaranteed by law monopoly. Subjecting them to a reasonable income cap is good policy and a fair tradeoff for allowing them to keep their cartel.

Ditto for politicians.
