Not sure how its a “take back” when they failed to win either the State House or State Senate.

Gerrymandered to hell, just like Wisconsin.

A ballot initiative for an Independent Redistricting Comission passed 60-40 for what it's worth.

Plus they stupidly voted to mandate a straight party option on all ballots in the frickin state Constitution to help out those low information voters who dont even know what offices they are voting for.

It’s the third time Michigan voters have voted to keep straight-ticket voting, which was first implemented in the 1860s. It’s extremely convenient to be able to check one box for every office then have to check 27 boxes. Plus it has to be in the state constitution so the Republicans in the legislature can’t screw with it again.

If you can't be bothered to know what you are voting for I have very little sympathy for you.
