As it's been noted elsewhere, several campaign threads have been flooded with comments, and leaving aside the whole "changing the subject" issue, it actually makes it a bit harder to mark the events quickly.

Consider this thread as your vehicle to comment, vent, make predictions and so on.

Also, since we're coming full circle, will we start getting updates on what the NPC governments have done?

I'd certainly like to, but as I've said I'm overwhelmed with my present duties as it is (though the backlog is being cleared tonight, news/electoral/pandemic updates are being written as we speak).

I may include something like a dice roll to test how popular incumbents are when - if - we start the second cycle, but it's a tentative notion. This is an aspect that will have to be discussed when I open up a feedback process after the December cycle is over.

I'll be honest, the post mortem - will be up today - is providing quite a challenge, partly because of how much material there was, partly because there's a lot of game mechanism factors at play (plus the inclusion of RCV in the South, which led to a couple of surprises). I'm hoping it will at least give an indication of why some things happened though.

No rush (of course) but should we expect the post mortem deep into the night or earlier?

Oh, deep into the night. Struggling with just how much to reveal or hint at.
