Howard Dean, who's previously said that while he doesn't think he's likely to run in 2016, he won't rule it out, has announced that his PAC will be used to focus on electing Democrats to state legislatures around the country, in the hopes of swinging some of them from GOP to Democratic control:

That's of course a modest amount of $, and focused on only a few states.  Virginia is up in 2013, but then in 2014, they're expanding to:

Schweitzer definitely seems to be going wobbly on a potential presidential run.  I mean, the concerns he voices here have been made before, and it isn't necessarily definitive, but I'd say he can pretty definitively be rated lower than the Biden-Cuomo-O'Malley triumvirate in terms of likelihood to run now:

I still think he's definitely running in a Hillary-less field. But maybe he's about to primary Baucus and make the seat Safe-D?

I think we're at the point where Walker should be considered top-five at a minimum in any GOP power rankings.
Then here's to hoping Feingold takes him out next year.

I really want to like him, but he's so bland. If he had given Deval Patrick's speech last year, he'd be the top Democratic choice behind Hillary.

I'd love for him to run, but he won't win, he's too sane.
