So I just read this whole thread and boy was it bad. I hesitated a bit, but I isolated the absolute worst post of all, here it is :
He'll probably write in "myself", "Melenchon", "Lenin", "Fidel Castro" or "Hugo Chavez" or something and therefore cast an invalid vote.
Boy that was bad.

FWIW, Mélenchon actually kind of wanted to have a slightly clearer call to vote against Le Pen on the night of the first round, but some of his younger "lieutenants" talked him out of it. If you knew a little about him, you'd know that he will obviously cast a Macron vote on Sunday, he's been wearing a red triangle on his vest for years for cryin out loud. But he wanted his Insoumis to have a voice, and appealed to their judgment, which I guess is politically quite refreshing, but I can understand why most of the establishment was infuriated with.

Anyway, I'm not here to defend Mélenchon, I don't even really like the guy.

So about the runoff. I've finally decided to cast a vote for Macron. Interesting fact : you know about psychosomatism ? I decided to go on Tuesday morning to make my proxy, and so during the preceding night, I woke up at 3 AM and went and emptied my bowel with flooding diarrhea. I repeated the act not long after having effectively made my proxy in the morning. That's what Macron inspires me.

Oh and as for the polls, I think it will be somewhat wider. I for one, and a lot of leftists I know, am gonna cast a Macron ballot, but a very shy one, if I were polled I would definitely not say it so that Macron and his supporters stay scared as long as possible. Petty, you say ? Definitely.
