The Clinton 1992 GA map would be vastly different from a winning 2020 Democratic GA map. Clinton won big in bubba good ole' boy country, while getting blown out in suburban Atlanta. The 2020 Democrat would get blown out amongst the bubbas, while winning Cobb, Gwinnett and other suburban counties easily.

In the Electoral College, applying that map(with ME-02 for Trump and NE-02 against him), Trump gets 182 EV to 356 for the Dem. Utah probably doesn’t vote Dem though so 350 EV for the Dem seems like the realistic ceiling, with a lot of close states.

You could drive all the way from Miami to the Canadian border, and Seattle to Denver without ever leaving a blue state.

Honestly, the fact that 35% think it's still better than 4 years is ludicrous. We're in the midst of an economic catastrophe unlike anything seen in almost every living person's lifetime, so of course it's worse now than it was 4 years ago. That much is true even if you're one of those people who thinks Trump miraculously pulled us out of the Mad Max-level American carnage of the Obama years.

Donald Trump increasingly looks like the Boss from Hell -- the imperious superior who seems to wreck the institution that he commands. He makes managerial mistakes that an assistant manager at a fast-food restaurant wouldn't dream of doing.

But even worse, he does things that suggest a despot. He has assembled enforcers with police powers, responsible to no courts of law or legislative oversight,  but to whose authority is nebulous (if not overtly to the Great and Infallible Leader himself) Such is practically the definition of a secret police.

At this point I can think of one perfect nominee for Attorney General in January 2021. Keen legal mind, figures things out fast, doesn't show his hand, adheres strictly to legal precedent, and has a "do the crime and do the time" attitude.  The nightmare for a gangster, terrorist, corrupt public official, or large-scale swindler, don't you think?   

Doug Jones or Sri Srinivasan, would be fantastic impartial arbiters of the law as AG. Which would lead to our criminal fraudster mob boss president and his mafia goons in some serious legal trouble.

Biden's ceiling is +12 in the NPV. He would lose SC by 2-3 points in his ceiling. Myrtle Beach is the fastest growing metro area in the US, and is getting filled with Republican retirees.
