I've been fantasizing about moving to Pittsburgh. Does anyone have recommendations on how to find a job in order to relocate?

I've been working into the grad school application process, and feel a bit lost and uncertain. Don't know if I'm cut out for it, or if there are some elemental parts of the process I'm missing.
