There are too many people empty quoting that post who don't know the meaning of the word "diphthong".
Exactly. The Keeng pronounciation would be something along the lines of [kʰiŋ], correct?

Yep!  I mean, both pronunciations will presumably be aspirated in American English.
Of course, I just like writing it, since the distinction between voiced/ voiceless plosives in English is almost as much along aspiration as voicing.
