Strongly against it.  Besides the fact that science tells us that we can never, ever be 100% certain that we're right, I also don't believe on a moral level that it makes sense to kill people in an attempt to show that killing is wrong.  I would agree with John Dibble; we should simply lock these people up and put them to work in an attempt to make them actually pay for their crimes.  Then, if new, vindicating evidence comes to life, we can also do more than just say, "Oops, sorry we killed him."

If he's known to be a child molester, wouldn't a court be able to find him as such?
