Opinion of Andrew Cuomo

A great governor. The only thing standing between Albany and the Republican army.

You can't be serious. New York is tremendously Democratic, and they could have a far more progressive/liberal governor than Cuomo.

Anyway, Cuomo is an HP, not only for his policies, but for his desire to have the Republicans control the state senate.

NY was a mess before Cuomo with constant budget impasses and record deficits, high unemployment, corruption etc. it was an embarrassment with Spitzer, Paterson. While you may not like Cuomo the state is not a laughing stock like it was a few years ago the budget is balanced, economy on the mend, taxes dropping the government works smoothly with no ugly battles between parties. He's a very effective Governor.

And he could've done that with a Democratic legislature.
