Poll
Question: Do you like the current system of breaking ties?
#1
Yes, the one hour overtime tiebreaking poll is fine and should be kept through the rest of the game

#2
No.  There is a better way for ties to be handled

Franklin Pierce is the latest president to be voted off the island and out of the game as now we have 12 who are gone and 30 who are left on the island.

Before we get to the business of voting, I want to ask that you all participate in the poll I'm doing for this round.  As you know, we've had 2 ties already in this game.   And for those who might not be aware, the way I've handled those two ties is to have an "overtime period" so to speak.   I take the tiebreaker to the "What if" forum where I ask everyone to vote off one or the other candidate.  I give this one hour, and at the end of the hour whoever has more votes to be eliminated is the one who gets eliminated, while the other one stays on.

But recently, I've had a few suggestions on how I can handle ties.   When we start getting down to the finals, I want to know if you all are happy with the way that ties are currently handled of if I should change it.   If you have any suggestions yourself, please post them on this thread:  https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=21307.0

And now, onto voting, which will as always end at midnight eastern time.   Have fun everybody.

I should have voted for that bastard LBJ

You and me both Bob.   I was hoping people would have followed our lead and voted out another deadwood president from the late 1800's, Garfield.   Oh well.

Anyways, the results so far are:

Lyndon B. Johnson - 19

George W. Bush - 15

James Garfield - 2

Abraham Lincoln - 1

Chester A. Arthur - 1

Alright all you political sluggers.    Time is up and voting for this very partisian Round 13 is now officially closed.   So everyone just take a drink of water and rest for a few minutes while I do my thing.

Well, this was probably the most intense round of Presidential Survivor to date.  One that saw the duel between two Texans in opposite partys,  but when the smoke clears, here are the final results:

Lyndon B. Johnson - 20

George W. Bush - 16

James Garfield - 3

Chester A. Arthur - 1

Richard Nixon - 1

Abraham Lincoln - 1

LYNDON B. JOHNSON, YOU MAY HAVE INVISIONED THE GREAT SOCIETY, BUT WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO HEAR NEXT IS NOT GONNA BE THAT GREAT FOR YOU.   YOU ARE THE NEXT PRESIDENT TO BE VOTED OFF THE ISLAND AND OUT OF PRESIDENTIAL SURVIVOR, GOODBYE!!

PRESIDENT LYNDON JOHNSON, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!!
