This is just dumb. We did absolutely nothing to the Irish, Italians, Jews, Polish, Chinese, or Cubans. Yes.

My point is that we've meddled in Central America for a century (including numerous real invasions) which has contributed to the area becoming the most violent region in the world, thus the mass exodus to our border. This 'invasion' as you put it is totally self-inflicted.
