I also like how Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan, among others, have songs on the 'Greatest conservative songs' page. To say nothing of Miles Davis.

ETA: ONE OF THE BOB DYLAN SONGS IS 'UNION SUNDOWN'. THEY LIST 'UNION SUNDOWN' AS A GREAT CONSERVATIVE SONG.
I am having way too much fun with this.

Bob Dylan has obviously written quite a few conservative songs:



And it is not entirely insane to claim that there's always been a little bit of a sub rosa conservative undercurrent in Dylan's work.  Or, at the very least, that he is enough of a masked artificer that the classic protest songs were written to fill a market segment rather than reflect his "real" political leanings.
