OK but also he just was weirdly desirable of that woman's blood.

I just came across that quote out of context on Twitter and assumed he was going off on some racist blood-and-soil tangent.

"I WANT MORE ARYAN BLOOD!"

Can someone please explain why the RNC has personal injury trial lawyers speaking at it?

Is that not just proof that they've thrown any pretense of conservative, pro-business ideology out the window in favor of backing any white person with the cojones to draw guns on uppity minorities?

Why the hell isn't Rob Portman a featured speaker at this thing?  That guy should be the future of the GOP, not these rejects.

In what universe is a 64 year old who first got elected to office in 1992 the "future" of anything?

He’s a gay 21-year-old, watching the RNC — and loving its critique of ‘identity politics‘

WaPo managed to find a Trump supporter who was adopted from Palestine as a baby by evangelical Christian parents, speaks Hebrew, is "pro-Palestine", is openly gay, and attends Oral Roberts University.

What even...

Quote
“I see more intolerance from the LGBTQ community for being a Republican than I feel from the Republican community for being gay,” he added.

>gay
>Pro-Palestine

LMAO

Don’t forget the part where he says he got chills listening to Vernon Jones.
"“His Twitter composure, his Twitter diplomacy could be better. For example, he’ll tweet something about Nancy Pelosi, and it will just be like ‘Ugh! You don’t need to be talking about women that way.’ But at the end of the day, I believe it is hypocritical to blame people for their worst mistakes,” Jacobson said."
LMAO. Yes, Trump's worst mistakes are being tweeting sexist things about Pelosi. lol

What a moron. Many voters in this country are idiots.

He sounds like an answer to one of those Atlas threads that say "Describe a [demographic] voter in [state] that voted for [candidates]."

I was actually going to say I'm surprised he's not posting on here!

Wait, somebody is destroying Confederate statues while taking a knee? How does one physically do this, Eric?

Gotta work on that upper body strength bro. Get into a lunge position and then grab the statue with both hands and pull as hard as you can.

If you bleed red, white, and blue, you have a serious medical condition that you need to get checked out.

Red = oxygenated arterial blood

Blue = deoxygenated venous blood

White = cholesterol

I hope they paid Nick Sandmann in the form of a gift certificate to his local orthodontist.

What makes his 15 minutes of fame all the more weird is how truly serendipitous it all was.

He was one of a crowd of kids standing near the Native American guy. If he'd been standing a couple of feet in another direction, some other kid would have been the one at the front of the group and they'd have been the one in the videos and getting mobbed by Twitter.

He literally did nothing but stand there looking like a smug prick and then because Liberal Twitter lost its collective mind, he was canonized as a saint by the Right. It's the textbook definition of elevating someone purely on the basis of victimhood - which conservatives allegedly oppose.

Trump blathering from the Oval Office about Confederate statues, the best economy in history, and mean lefties on Twitter while his supporters in southwestern Louisiana are picking through the rubble of their houses wouldn't be a good look. (Of course it would never make them consider voting for someone else either.)

This whole convention has been fantastic.

I freaking love the new GOP.

If the new GOP hates warmongering, then why does our fat bloated military keep getting absurd budget increases?
Has that budget been used to launch a massive (and unjustified) invasion of Iraq? No? What about the wars with Iran and North Korea? What ever happened to that? Just because he's stupidly expanding our military doesn't mean he intends to use it. In fact, Trump has repeatedly shown extreme restraint on the global stage.

Spending more money on the military when you don't intend to have a military conflict is basically just wasting money.

I thought Trump was a brilliant, efficient businessman and Republicans were fiscally conservative.

Why should they, over a natural disaster Trump nor any President has any control over?

Bush abandoned Louisiana after Katrina. Trump abandoned Puerto Rico after Maria.

Barack Obama rose to the occasion after Sandy.

Democrats competently manage natural disasters; Republicans do not.

The funny thing about this line of thinking is that ZANU-PF's overarching ideology—romanticization of rural life fused to a sense that the racial/ethnic majority is entitled to special privileges and that minorities and foreigners should know their place or get out—is basically the Republican Party's.
