I once got to play Iran in a MUN debate on Israel/Palestine. IIRC the solution we came was waaay to Palestine-friendly because we (me, guy playing Gaddafi Libya, and some other person) managed to convince everyone that UNSCR 242 was totally legally binding and the UN would basically invade if Israel didn't withdraw from the West Bank and the Goland Heights. We even negotiated Israel allowing unhindered transit between the West Bank and Gaza.

The RAND Corporation came up with a proposal for that that was basically an easement through the Sinai Desert that would be used for a highway and high-speed rail. It would function like transit between West Germany and West Berlin did during the Cold War: you got on the highway and could only stop at little self-contained gas station/rest stop islands until you reached the other territory.
