clarence, what unit did you serve in?  My pastor served in the 25th ID at Cu Chi.

jmfcst, Ive known a couple men who served with your pastor at Cu Chi. They call it "Hell's Half Acre"  One of the toughest combat zones in American military history.

I served in the Navy, not Army. Began with NMCB 4 (naval mobile construction battalion) and later in the 3rd Naval Construction Brigade with MCB 121(mobile constrution battalion). My first month in Nam I was at Dong Xoai when the Viet Cong attacked.  I owe my life to the Army boys there with me.

There's no reason. Unignore him and you will see why.
It's just fine, ZuWo- obviously I offended "Grumpy Gramps" and I won't lose sleep over it... I don't know much about him but from what I do know- it's obvious we have different philosophies. Folks have told me he's either in his late 40s or early 50s... I'm not sure how old he is but he's younger then me yet prefers to go by that moniker- "Grumpy Gramps"- despite the fact that he's still in the prime of his life. Maybe I rub folks the wrong way by being a bit R-rated at times, but I'd rather live like I'm 20 then live like I'm nearing 70. Torie seems to have a similar philosophy but it's clear he's got a bit more upstairs and a bit more in the bank then I do

If that attitude leads to some comments that piss some folks off- so be it. It's his right to ignore me
