This forum  is aimed at discussion of the presidential election in the USA rather than in Russia.

You have to love how the Dems here don't like opinions of anyone but their own.  It's systemic in the left here in the US.  Hard to have a real logical discussion without summary dismissal of any point because "oh, ha the source is RT/Breitbart/writer I don't like/foreigner so this is garbage!".

Maybe the idiot left. I think most reasonable progressives recognize it as literally Russian propaganda.

Ironically, they are one of the few that give some decent coverage to third parties in the US. I'd say their Russia coverage is pro-state but internationally they are only less balanced than Al-Jazeera.  But people probably don't like Al-Jazeera here either because TERRRIRIRSSTTS.

Pretty much. RT is total bullsh**t propaganda when they cover Russia, but they're easily one of the best media outlets for covering the US (when not specifically having to do with Russia).

Plenty of BS on all sides.  Just the left permeates all media here that's not Fox News. The SJW/Feminazi/white knight/BLM PC cult controls Twitter, Facebook, HuffPo, Gawker, etc etc. If RT is some propaganda piece all those are as well. (and yes, Fox News is one for the right).

I'd have thought a libertarian would have understood the difference between private news services and government controlled ones and the advantage that competition brings. But I guess many US "libertarians" aren't really for freedom in any meaningful sense.

Sure, but my point was the leftist who just dismiss X because they have a certain leaning or backing. Fox News is mostly BS, but Judge Napolitano is the man.  RT is a joke for Russian news, but decent for international.  HuffPo is useless drivel for most political articles, but their delegate charts and maps were great...
