What percentage of white Americans are racist against whites?

I would feel more uncomfortable in an all-white neighbourhood. White people tend to be pretentious yuppies or godawful suburbanites. Who would want to be among them? Plus, most of the worst people in the world are white.

I'm not racist though, because that would imply I believe whites to be genetically inferior, but I do trust them less, and loathe them more.

This is 1-for-1 the same reasoning an honest to goodness racist would use to justify themselves. "I'm not racist, I don't think I'm genetically superior, I just don't like 'em and wish they'd stick to themselves."

In that other thread we had a guy flat out admit he disliked American whites for their voting patterns. I'm not about to clutch my pearls over a group - obviously "my" group - that hasn't endured the ugly side of institutional racism, but talk about cognitive dissonance.

E: FWIW, my lily white neighborhood features waterlogged couches on porches, a windowless Trans-Am defaced with graffiti, a nasty patch of woods with more beer cans in it than trees, and I'll guess more than its fair share of meth users.. all while voting Obama 60-40 in 2012.

Hmm.. well, I live among non-whites, largely, but I do always 'hang out with' a few whites (mostly French).  Generally speaking I can't really tolerate hanging out with Americans anymore, no, not at all.  Germans and suchlike I can usually tolerate for a while, but hardly consistently.  I'd say its just the French for me, oddly enough.  Maybe an Australian or Brit in the mix.. outside the Asians, obviously.

It seems unlikely to me that French would choose to emigrate from such a "good" country, their residence in Thailand seems to me counter intuitive.
