I'm starting to doubt it.

Also if he loses it's pretty much all the fault you and your ilk.
Well I did get us two populist victories.

Actually, it's probably more than 2/3 assuming Republicans flee from Wood.

Also, Thomas Marshall looks like a kid with a fake mustache and glasses that aren't his. Would you vote for a man that looked like that?

over a self-proclaimed Bolshevik? absolutely.
Stop with the character assassinations guys.

pointing out a candidate's politics is not a character assassination.
Was he advocating for creation of a vanguard party in US and violent overthrow of the government? Not to my knowledge.

Identifying himself with those doing that in another country is bad enough.
I find your support of the Czar personally offensive.

Let's ask an actual Socialist saboteur. Seatown, would you prefer Norm Thomas or Franklin Roosevelt?
I think the question is flawed.

Yes, you didn't get the Populists elected and you got Theodore Roosevelt elected over Robert LaFollette.  As for the "strategy," its shameful and deserves to be condemned regardless of its success or failure.  OTOH, maybe we should sabotage Socialist/progressive third-party primaries Tongue
That's why we passed progressive legislation Tongue
