This is a very smart move, as the likely alternative is Israeli forces invading the country that takes their officials hostage.

This is rediculous. I don’t know any other nation that’s as hamfistedly loyal to another that they think they’re immune to war crimes.

This is as much about establishing a pattern of deterrence to keep the ICC from unilaterally targeting American or American-allied officials who are not party to the ICC.

People do realize that the US is legally obligated to invade the Netherlands if a US official winds up in the dock, right? This isn't some crazy new Republican policy.
