Suppose Bush wasn't president

McCain... I've always though that in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 Bush was spot on (interestingly this is when Cheney was furthest from him ), Gore and Dole would have been similar in their reactions though both would have attacked Afghanistan and probably Iraq (though the timing would have been different), Clinton would also have handled the situation well IMHO, then again Clinton presentational style can be very similar to Bush’s at times.
