Repeat my question from similar thread here: ideological positions (economy & social) of candidates? Van Ostern is more or less Sanders liberal, Connolly - Clinton liberal. Republicans - ?

As usual - minus is "more liberal"?. So - Forrester is most liberal socially, while Edelbut - a social conservative with some populist streak on economy? Interesting...

forrester is a pro life libertarian type. Sununu is pro-choice but far more mainstream socially.

Thanks! At least - a variety of views. In 95% of all districts Republican candidates are monotonously conservative, and in 90% - Democratic candidates are monotonously liberal...

Leaning Gatsas at this point for me
Wise choice. I want to see a debate, as I have very little to go but other than their announcements. I'm not sure if Gatsas is pro-choice or pro-life.

IMHO - somewhat pro-life (looking at his past career). Frankly  - that would bother me if i would vote in New Hampshire, as i generally prefer pro-choice candidates...

I think the current rating in electability is: Gatsas>Forrester>Van Ostern>Sununu>Connolly.

Idk about the rest, but Gastas is a pretty weak candidate who only won re-election against a B-list opponent by the skin of his teeth.

In a city election, that's pretty good for the Republicans.

Manchester is a Republican stronghold, IIRC.

I wouln't say so - it's a sort of mixed. But it's surely more conservative then Concord, and, probably, slightly more then Nashua. Even among Democrats in Manchester there are somewhat conservative-leaning legislators
