Final (I think) polls...

Newspoll: ALP 52%
Galaxy: ALP 52%
Morgan: ALP 54.5%
ACNielsen: ALP 57%

For what it's worth, in the five elections Labor won in the Hawke/Keating era they took the following %'s: 53.2, 51.8%, 50.8%, 49.9%, 51.4%. This may be more relavant than the % uniform swing says they need, or it might not. The issue is whether Coalition majorities in outer-suburban marginals were artificially inflated in 2004 or not.

What time do the polls close (GMT time)?

I think about 7am or so. Never much good with time though.

The CBC always has an online feed for their election coverage, does anyone know if one of the Australian outlets will be doing the same? Or at they very least what's a major Australian news site that we can get info at?

Oh and one other thing - where can one get results later tonight?

www.abc.net.au/elections

Have fun; ABC's internet coverage of elections is the best there is.

Just to note that I'll be doing the usual thing of locking this thread for a while and opening a results thread. If I wake up in time, which I hope to.
