Between injuries and suspensions, we currently have two defenders.

Quite the change from Boring Boring Arse-Nil, no?

Legia Warsaw scored an equalizer vs Steaua Bucharest (is that the English spelling?) in overtime, meaning Bucharest go on only on the away goals rule.

The club is mentioned a lot in Said & Done and that's how they write it, so, presumably.

Today is Bill Shankly's centenary. And Liverpool have beaten Manchester United at Anfield and are now top of the league. Heh.

Ordinarily I would agree, but I'm just propagandising against di Canio.

I think the trouble is that he tries to play the team with two right wings.

City aren't very good at the back (not just because Hart is having the yips - though he is - but because their defence is sh!te) so the result really should not come as a surprise...

French clubs set to strike over Hollande's rich tax. Excellent.

Lacks dignity, to say the least.

If we do stay up this season then it will be a miracle, therefore Pope Francis would have an excellent chance of being canonised after he dies.

I would like to thank the Pope for his efforts in securing our first win of the season (and against Newcastle, no less).

We played really poorly, but I guess that's part of being title contenders, playing bad against weak teams and still getting three points.

It's more a comment on the lamentable state of football (outside the top x. number of clubs) in this country.
