Most of the Respect strongholds were moved into Poplar and Limehouse though (which is why Galloway is standing there).

No they weren't. Most of them evaporated in 2006. The part of the constituency that's moving out would have been one of Galloway's worst wards in 2005 - he's moving because he obviously finds it less embarrassing to lose in a new constituency than be a defeated incumbent.
