Murders and robberies and rapes all still go on. That doesn't mean we should legalize them.

That doesn't really address my point now, does it. It is highly unlikely that your views on this issue are likely to ever be those of more than a small minority, so in order for what you want to happen to actually happen, something will have to change at a more practical level.

Uh, the evidence suggests the opposite. Being pro-life is becoming the majority opinion, at least in the U.S.

Labels and badges, baubles and fluff. Whether voters prefer ProLifetm to ProChoicetm is not important. All reputable surveys done on this make it pretty clear that only a minority of Americans support banning abortions in all circumstances. There is no reason to assume that this will change.

You can adopt any outlook you feel like, I don't care. I just think you're fooling yourself if you think that abortion will be banned in your lifetime and that your efforts would be better spent on advocating restrictions (despite a vocal anti-abortion lobby and 'friends' in high places, the United States has one of the most 'liberal' abortion laws on the planet) than believing that the pie in the sky is about to land on your plate, cooked and ready to eat.
