No polls matter at this point. We just came off of a high profile primary season. After the conventions the polls will matter

Sammy.  very nice.  did I tell you that on my return flight from SJ to Newark after a relaxing ten-day Thanksgiving holiday in PR last fall I sat next to the Son of Roberte Clemente?  (well, geekgirl was in the middle, so almost next to him)  Anyway, he had a nice multimillion dollar plan drawn up for a sports complex for underpriveliged youth (Clemente Center or something) he was taking to NYC to show some investors.  And yes, Clemente's son is a Republican!  And he doesn't eat little children.  He helps them.

I'd say from the above it is obvious that Kerryites are just as willing as the gore people were to use their personal funds to muck around in the minds of the nader folks.  This is absolutely fuçking disgusting.  On the other hand, you clearly put quite an effort into the post.  I have had phone conversations with of a couple of my pseudosocialist friends who voted for Nader (mostly in Somerville, MA) last time and they're softer this year.  Time will tell.

On a more serious note:  This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will, in the future, likely think before she speaks...a true story...a female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked: "So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?" Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too they were laughing so hard!

ONLY ONE POLL MATTERS.  YOU WILL KNOW SOON ENOUGH.

That weatherman business was hilarious! Roberto Clemente's son? wow. I met Alex Rodriguez when he was plaing in Seattle. My dad and I were at a Jack-in-the-Box when we saw him. He was very nice. Where in Puerto Rico did you go? My uncle lives in Ceiba(Naval Base).

Everywhere!  We spent a few days each in SJ, Vieques, Ponce, and La Parguera.  Also hiked in the U.S. forestry service's only tropical rainforest.  We also toured the excellent science facilities at UPR-Mayagüez, after some advice from a kind Puerto Rican I went scubadiving with in the reefs south of Lajas.  Puertoriqueños are very passionate about their politics.  Their love/hate with Spain and with the USA is fascinating.  ¡orgulloso, pero sincero! as are most latinoamericanos I have had the pleasure of discussing politics with.  I'd sure like to hear your uncle's views about Sila Calderón.  I heard her give a moving speech about the stituation on vieques, but that's a little off-topic.  Sorry for the rant.

Yeah, Puerto Rico is a nice place. My uncle has to leave though because they are shutting down the naval base. It's too bad, I really enjoyed it there. Its like Mexico with a decent economy and people that speak English. I cant wait to go to Cuba!
