Hmmmm....I think something might change now. Even if it isn't rape it does seem like the allegation isn't entirely unsubstantiated. Still question marks of how much it'll hurt but Biden's chances of dropping out just increased.

Even if Biden did drop out, there is no way Bernie would win the nomination. Biden’s delegates would probably choose someone like Cuomo or Harris.

Yeah I wouldn't expect them to pick Bernie either. I'm not exactly a #BernieOrBuster.

Ok seriously did the nominee really HAVE to be Biden like cmon there were 30 other people and two of those people where Bernie sanders and Andrew Yang.

So if, let’s say, Bernie is the nominee and a woman shows up and accuses him of raping her X years ago, what is Bernie going to do?

Red rose Twitter would get off their high horse real quick and go scorched earth against her

Meanwhile Donut Twitter would go scorched earth against Bernie and say "SEE I TOLD YOU HE WAS SEXIST" etc etc

You can't win. Unless you nominate a female.

I do think though a sexual assault allegation is easier to stick against Biden because he has history of being somewhat inappropriate with women. There's a reason people thought he was a #MeToo ticking time bomb waiting to happen.
