The Do Not Call List is a blessing to telemarketers. I am NEVER EVER EVER going to order anything from a telemarketer. They are wasting their time if they call me, and I'm doing them a favor by being on the Do Not Call List, as they don't have to waste their time on me.

The telephone in general is a horrible thing. It rings and you're supposed to drop whatever you're doing to talk to someone. Very invasive technology.

I disagree.  The ability for me to enter someone's home with megaphone and sing Norweigan folk songs is my 1st Amendment right!

Nope. If I call the police on you doing so, they'll escort you off the property. If you persist, then you'll get your ass landed in jail. So much for THAT "right."

Of course, you're well within your rights to stand on the sidewalk and sing though a megaphone.
