I, Flo/Asheville/FloridianOranges/AlaskanSalmon/JacobTiver, publicly support regional consolidation. I understand that regional consolidation requires compromise and collaboration. In the pursuit of progress and in the spirit of collaboration, I hereby join the Convention for Agreement on Regional Consolidation in Atlasia. I shall have the right to debate, to submit a map proposal for regional consolidation and to vote on all entries submitted during the submission period.

Electoral map of Atlasia as of October 3rd.

I couldn't get rid of the congressional districts in Maine and Nebraska, so just ignore it for now unless someone can do the thing.

How do you change the number of electoral votes given to each state when making the map?  It'd be easier to change them to the number Atlasians living in each state.

I was wondering this too, but here's a map that does not account for population.

I will never support this map, I don't want to split the Midwest!

But all it does is give Oklahoma to the Southern region, and only 1 voter there (Maxwell).

No, Minnesota, Iowa are two  Midwest states too!

Oops sorry about forgetting about them, but Talleyrand is right
It's inevitable that 1-5 regions are going to be split. I'd strongly encourage that none of us get too attached to our imaginary fiefdoms here. Tongue

My map splits 3 regions (the Midwest, Mideast, and Northeast). I made the map without considering the interests of any region in mind, and remember it's only a proposal. I'm sure there will be some good alternatives available if you don't like. I'm open to all reasonable ideas here.
At least one region will be split, and most likely four or all five will be split.

For those of you who are using my electoral map (the one GAworth used)
Since a few people joined the game, the numbers may be off a bit.

Missouri looks better in the West.  Smiley

This is the best map I've seen so far!

Tried to make a map that didn't really preserve any region:

Red: 57
Blue: 51
Green: 57

This map may well simply make no one happy, but just thought I'd submit it Tongue

This is my favorite map so far!!!

MAP SUBMISSION PERIOD TERMINATES: 10/19/13 01:31:28 AM ET

MAP VOTING PERIOD BEGINS: 10/19/13 01:31:29 AM ET [/b][/center]

Here is a copy of the reference sheet that will be used for the vote, which begins in less than 24 hours - please review for errors and the like. I have eight maps on here (by my count, there were nine submissions; Scott/Fritz both submitted the same map). I tried to standardize the color schemes of each. It'd also be helpful if each person could clarify how Oceania/Puerto Rico are distributed.
