Hand out a few Sheetz gift cards and he's a lock.  Cheesy

Oh I loved Sheetz when I lived in PA.  I miss it terribly!

I think John Fetterman would be the best Democratic candidate.

For the Republicans, they should really run Charlie Dent but he might not win the primary.

This is incredible. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up running away with it.

I had the exact opposite reaction. My initial reaction to Oz running was that he would likely run away with the primary, but the first couple days of his candidacy seem like a total mess. His "message" is completely generic and terrible (just like that tweet, it's like Marianne Williamson bad) and he's done a few local PA interviews where he can't even say what the #1 issue Pennsylvanians are dealing with. He's coming off like a total out of touch carpetbagger. He's still likely to win the primary bc of name recognition, but I'm starting to feel a little better about Dems chances here. Oz is a total empty suit.

In other words, he's going to cure cancer, create world peace, and make everyday full of rainbows, lollipops, and sunshine.  And vote with Don the Con 100% of the time.

Do y'all feel that Dr. New Jersey is still going to win the GOP primary?

John Fetterman is really a unique candidate, he reminds me of Jon Tester - he seems like he's going to make this race very competitive.  The Republican field is abysmal.  A strong R candidate would have walked away with this.

I just don't get Oz.  Why did he want to do this?  Doesn't he have millions and all that fame and fortune from his work in television?  He just doesn't seem like the kind of person that would thrive in this very partisan, bitter environment, and he's aligning himself with the opposite kinds of people (rage-filled, culture war types) that made him famous.

I think he too is an awful fit for PA.  He should have just run in NJ.

I'm behind Fetterman 100%.  He actually feels like PA to me and should be representing it in the Senate.  Whether or not he can beat the terrible odds against being a D in a very anti-D year, I don't know.

They'll probably win because its an "Inevitable Red Wave", but all of these PA Republican candidates truly suck.

Josh Shapiro and John Fetterman, c'mon fellas, let's score a rare victory in PA!!!

Dr. Oz has to be one of the worst politicians the state of NJ has ever seen... or PA.

Fetterman fits the state unusually well.  Dr. Oz... fits an Upper East Side penthouse well.

It's a very interesting race because the two guys couldn't be more different and even in a very challenging climate for Team Blue, Fetterman is surfing against the Red wave and may just beat it.

Who's idea was it to have Dr. Oz run for politics in the first place?  Some celebrities really think they can have it all.... he's not Arnold Schwarzenegger.  He's not even Donald Trump.

I am from PA, I never once heard of "Crudites".

Couldn't he have said he'd be making some good ol' Shepherd's Pie instead?

John Fetterman needs to recover from his stroke and the people of Pennsylvania deserve a full-time Senator, but let me just say that this Oz character is absolute trash.

He's still one of Oprah's rich elitist quack doctors from TV.  He's a Beverly Hills guy, he's not a Bethlehem Steel guy.  I'm not surprised that many working-class men in the state (like those two Trump voters from Philadelphia) can see through this sham.

You can say all you want about John Fetterman - who, depending on the news you get this morning, is either completely incapacitated or on death's door - but that doesn't change the fact that the Wizard of Oz (who was also a crook) is a Sleazemeister.

The wonderful people of Pennsylvania deserve better than to be shamed into voting for Doctor Crudite.
