Perhaps one of his caregivers could point out to the senile old Hitler-wannabe that,

1) they did that in 2016 and the Republican Congress was too busy giving money to billionaires and failing to take away healthcare to do anything about immigration, and

2) we have a lawful system of immigration now, he's just not following the law

Our nation is not a game show. Our veterans deserve better than being used in PR stunts at the whims of a billionaire.

https://www.va.gov/HOMELESS/pit_count.asp
Quote
The most recent PIT Count was conducted in January 2018. This national snapshot of Veteran homelessness showed that:

On a single night in January 2018, just over 37,800 Veterans were experiencing homelessness
.

When Mr. Trump and his billionaire buddy give every homeless veteran a home and the support to keep it, they'll have done something they can truly be proud of.

How Mr. Trump actually treats veterans:

(Technically not a Trump Tweet (yet) - just something crazy he said. With any sane President, such a compact mix of craziness would be its own thread. But with Mr. Trump, I'm not even sure if it's the craziest thing he's said today.)

Cummings's district has median income and college education levels that are above the national average.

A couple things to add context to this tweet.

First, Mr. Trump is currently suing Rep. Cummings.

Quote
President Donald Trump and his business organization on Monday sued Rep. Elijah Cummings — the House oversight committee chairman — alleging the Baltimore Democrat crossed a constitutional line with a subpoena to the president’s longtime accountant seeking years of financial statements.

Second, Jarded Kushner owns a number of Baltimore apartment complexes, where he's been accused of being a scofflaw slumlord.

https://www.democracynow.org/2017/6/12/the_beleaguered_tenants_of_kushnerville_jared
Quote
“The Beleaguered Tenants of ‘Kushnerville.’” That’s the headline of a recent piece in ProPublica about the real estate dealings of Trump’s son-in-law and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner. The piece looks at how Kushner’s former company Kushner Companies has acted as a “neglectful and litigious” landlord of low-income housing units in Baltimore. ProPublica reporter Alec MacGillis chronicles how Kushner Companies hounded low-income tenants with a barrage of lawsuits, eviction notices and late fees—even when the tenants were in the right. Tenants also described terrible maintenance practices, which created nearly unlivable conditions for some families.

Just in case anyone was wondering what informed Mr. Trump's attack on Rep. Cummings:

Have we see Mr. Trump screaming that he was "exonerated" by a "witch hunt" so directly before? (Although really, I don't suppose it's very different from how he "won" a "rigged" election, is it?)

Mr. Trump has shown himself such a delusional idiot that it's hard to tell if he's lying or stupid here. (My money is on lying because he's stupid - he's been told that's not how tariffs work, but doesn't believe it,  because "he's smarter".)

Nothing establishes that you're sane and honest better than screaming that your critics are insane and shouting your catchphrase.

Does anyone even know what the Wicked Witch of the West Wing is going on about here, or should this tweet just be moved to the dementia thread?

It was only a matter of time before he lost it completely:

editing post to add: looking at his twitter this morning, he really has lost it. President Cuckoo pants. (This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. That he regularly paints himself orange was a pretty strong tip-off that he was crazy.)

This is gibberish. Mr. Trump is mentally ill to the point of incapability, and the establishment - Republicans, Democrats, and the  Fourth Estate alike - refuse to acknowledge it. (And for the record, Germany's negative yield bond auction failed.)

Crashing the economy...with no survivors.

I suspect Russia will survive.

(Sheer chance, of course. Mr. Trump's positions as a Russian money launderer and Putin groupie have nothing to do with that. Nothing at all.)

I love how all the Republicans who whine endlessly about "socialism" and "big government" are silent on their leader saying things like "Our great American companies are hereby ordered..." and "I am ordering all carriers...".

Or do they think it's okay because it's fascism from a white supremacist?

(Note: I'm just fine with the President making sure companies obey the law. But that's not what The Chosen Tatrum-Thrower is doing.)

He's en-route to France for a contentious G7 meeting, and mid-Atlanticbefore getting on the plane, he's tweeting about US TV ratings.

(Corrected, as apparently he hadn't left yet.)

My guess is that we recognize Tweets written by staffers by their proper capitalization?

If the media were as biased against him as he claims (which they are not), the coverage of this would read:

PRESIDENT DOUBLES DOWN ON "CHOSEN ONE" SAYS NEWS OUTLETS HAVE TO TRUST THAT HE IS THE MESSIAH

Quote
In a tweet early Saturday morning, President Trump stated that he thinks being The Chosen One is "fun" and labels himself as having a "Messiah complex".

The President admitted that he labeled himself "The Chosen One" while gazing into the sky and that he does not trust the media to accurately cover his self-proclaimed status. The President insists the media bring everyone the "TRUTH" about his new status as the Messiah and Chosen One.

P.S. He wasn't smiling (he didn't stop talking long enough to smile). Check for yourselves:

What is the "President" doing?

I'm not a legal scholar, but a Majotity Opinion certainly sounds like the sort of thing Mr. Trump would approve of. (Although I doubt VP Pence would... he probably can't even be in the same courthouse with one.)

Btw, does anyone else feel sorry for the interns slaving away, finding hurricane-relevant things to toss into Mr. Trump's twitter feed so that it doesn't look like he's completely obsessed with his own grudges on the eve of a potential disaster?

This is very odd. It's not that this shouldn't be on the local or even national news, just that there's no reason for Mr. Trump's account to be re-tweeting it. Of course, it does come after hours of bragging and screaming "TRAITORS" - maybe someone just wanted a little more non-insane ranting on his Twitter. Or maybe he got confused and thought that since it was on the water, it must have to do with Dorian.
