New York seems quite low and Texas quite high compared to the CW.  Also Florida is really low (though this is income, not assets, so retirees will look poorer than they really are).  It's also interesting that there's much less variation in median household income vs. median home value between states.

Upstate NY is whiter than the NYC area and doesn't have high incomes.  NYC also has smaller households.
