Interesting subject!

While I am not the ideal candidate, I would hope that Jmfcst, in my opinion one of the most intolerant and divisive people on the forum, could not win such an election.

I think I would win more of the Catholic vote than it would appear. Despite being gay am I church going Catholic and Jmfcst has made some derogatory comments towards Catholicism. Secondly blatant evangelicalism does not sit well with many Catholics.

Dude, I would probably even win in D.C. over you.

Why dig up this old thread- simply to have another pot shot at me? Smiley It must be a slow day at Casa Jmfcst.

I would win the Catholic vote 3-1 since I am more Catholic than afleitch.

Catholic voters, and the Church itself are very turned off by rampant evangelism. Most Catholics often share more liberal attititudes than their Church (except over the issie of abortion perhaps)

I am certain you would not win the Jewish vote either my deluded friend!

You seem to forget that the social views of this forum are NOT in sync with the social views of the electorate.  Mine are.

That belongs in the comedy goldmine.

I agree. But that's what happens when you live in a bubble. You loose contact with reality.

I think 19 out of 19 states is "reality" enough for me to know where America stands on the issue of your "lifestyle", regardless of the "reality" of opinion on this forum.

That was in the issue of gay marriage- I dont even support gay marriage! But then you never bothered to find out did you Smiley

No jmfcst, give me a break for once and stop jumping to conclusions about me. Agreed? Smiley Maybe if you listened to people before you started ranting about them or pre-judging them you wouldn't be such a social pariah on this forum.

You mean you're not really a flaming homosexual?

Homosexual yes, 'flaming' no. All I do is study at uni, love my family and hope to work hard and pay my taxes just like everyone else. I have no idea what is so 'flaming' about that. It is the same life lived by millions of gay Americans and Brits who love their country and community and serve it with distinction whether your dentist, or your doctor, or your accountant or the person who delivers your mail.

afleitch could be elected president 10-20 years from now

And what a happy day that would be. The USA being mature and open minded enough to elect someone regardless of their sexuality Smiley
