I work as a civil servant for the Ministry of Justice dealing with applications for government compensation for crime victims. I deal with older, complex cases under an old, abandoned scheme that follows common law civil litigation. I also attend judicial hearings to finalise these cases. Been at the job for 5 and a half years.
