Biden has had a history of saying racially insensitive remarks, who cares about his vote, and he isnt going to be the nominee, as you think he has.

All I know is that it's sad that, in lieu of actually admitting you were wrong, you pivot to "wElL wHo CaReS aBoUt HiS vOtE, wHaT aBoUt AlL tHiS StUfF" instead of just acknowledging that you said something that wasn't factually correct.

When you go around saying a segregationist is the way you move legislation, saying Obama is clean black man that got ahead, and saying Brown skinned people work at 7 eleven, and DEL is a slave state, Biden doesnt deserve the nomination.

Alan J.Dixon, who was IL most prestigious Senator, lost, in my home state of IL, due to his vote for Clarence Thomas, that's why Simon refused to even vote in committee for a favorable recommendation for Thomas.

Obviously, Biden was hurt by his vote, he still apologized for to Hill, 20 yrs later.

Ignoring the fact that that's some massive taking of those remarks out of context (for example, he didn't praise a segregationist; he said that, sometimes in Congress, one has to work with terrible or downright racist colleagues to get things done, & then he went on to say that, when you can't work with them, you work around them), how can one claim that Simon refused to vote for Thomas because Dixon had lost when Dixon didn't lose until 5 months after Thomas was confirmed?? Did Paul Simon, of all people, master time travel technology? Did he have a DeLorean? A TARDIS? A quantum tunnel & time-space GPS? I'd love to know.

lol you're talking to olakwandi, he's some sort of Turing test experiment.

Oh give it a rest, this isn't weird at all. He's a grandpa from a generation where this was perfectly normal. If it was a random girl, then maybe, but some families kiss on the lips; whatever, I don't judge. You're really stretching.
it Trump did it you'd be all over it

As if this is the same as Trump literally saying that he'd wanna date his daughter.
Stop taking Trump literally with everything

Oh no, I'm so sorry for having taken the words of the President of the United States at face value, especially when he gave me no reason not to (well, at least in this instance, anyway).
All democrats have is words . There are dozens of videos of Biden being creepy and acting inappropriate. There is no actual evidence Trump has assaulted anyone all the stories have never been substantiated.

Yeah, it's not like we have Trump on tape bragging about his sexual assaults or anything.

Nice running away with your tail between your legs though and trying to change the topic. Look, if you're gonna be a proud Republican you'll just have to deal with embracing rape. That's your party and your values. Whining about how a Democratic politician (criticized by much of the base) hugs his granddaughter doesn't really change the fact that you're cheering for the pro-rape party.

Personally I think there is a distinction between "opposing busing as a failed policy" and "working with the worst racists in the senate to draft anti-busing legislation as one of your top priorities".

Had Biden just voted in favour of an anti-busing bill when it came up I think it would have been much less of an issue, at least to me.

Oh my god how self centered can this forum get. No Hillary did not lose to Trump because of a buch woke far left liberals decided to stay home because Hillary wasn't good enough for them. The world and politics do not revolve around you guys because if it did Bernie would be president and Biden wouldn't be leading this primary.
Literally nobody said that. The data shows the Obama->Did Not Vote cohort was more moderate than the average Clinton 2016 voter. The largest “moderate” bloc in the Democratic Party are black voters. Black people stayed home. There is no reason to believe Biden will bring them out. Obama begged us to come out for Hillary. He TOLD us his legacy was on the line and turnout still nosedived. That also doesn’t account for voter suppression like in WI where their voter ID laws suppressed 200,000 black votes and not much is being done to combat the effects of this in 2020.

ETA: y’all also need to understand that a candidate leading with black voters in a primary says nothing about their GE performance. To win a GE the Democrat needs to turn out low propensity black voters who don’t vote in primaries. Black primary voters are extremely partial to “establishment” and name brand candidates and that’s fine but it doesn’t make them a slam dunk in the General.

As seen in 2016.

Of course he can. People on Atlas really underestimate Biden because they dislike him. I'd bet on Warren winning if I had to guess right now, but Biden still has a very solid shot.

And there is not much evidence he will collapse either, he's been pretty robust in the polls once you control for the slide after his announcement bump.
