CarlHayen, the new jobs are all being created in Asia, Latin America, and Africa.  There is really no reason to create much employment in the USA anymore.  I think much higher unemployment will continue to be the norm for the rest of our lives.

Viva free trade.

Free trade doesn't destroy jobs. And jobs aren't "created" at some random place by powers that be.

The mis-comprehensions about trade and globalization are so vast they'r depressing (and I'm not really thinking of Opebo, who we all know are deluded to the point that he probably needs to be hospitalized but of sane people who buy into the trade scare).
