You do have to admit that Ronald has to be the whitest of white guys and that the only significant person of color in McDonaldland, Grimace, acts just like a stereotypical dumb happy negro.
But it would seem that most of the characters have been done away with, and that even Ronald himself seems to be losing prominence.
McDonald's no longer goes after the kiddie market like they used to. They want to encourage customers to go upscale on their orders. Rather than a large soda, how about a large frappe at twice the price?
