It's been since even well before 1947 that a peaceful, democratic, one-state multi-ethnic resolution for Palestine was something more than a pipe dream. So, two-state is my first choice, while which one-state option I list as my second choice depends upon whether I'm being realistic (non-democratic Jewish) or idealistic (democratic).

Arguably, Israel has been a non-democratic Jewish state for almost five decades now.

Within the Green Line, Israel is a democracy, albeit a flawed one.  If you define Israel to include the West Bank and/or Gaza, then no, it is not.  But I don't think most people define it that way yet.

That's why I said arguably, especially since it's only been in the last decade or two that Israel stopped acting as if it believed that the current situation was a temporary one that would hopefully lead to a peaceful two-state resolution.

Even assuming the West Wing has its facts correct, this ain't 1967.  Back then Israel was still shocked at how well it did and hadn't yet built up its myth of eternal supremacy over its neighbors. It also hadn't placed hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants into the West Bank.

Most Israelis online seem to want the current status quo to go on forever. Where while there exists two state. Palestinians being subordinate and settlement expansion continue to go on. Where Israel will not relinquish control of the whole West Bank even areas populated by settlements. A more radical option is also growing in sentiment. One state with the Palestinians kicked out to Jordan. I noticed most Israelis seemed to stop believing in a two state solution ever since 2009-2011.
Yeah, destabilize Jordan.   That's smart, real smart, NOT!

However, I don't see Israel going to forced deportations, just making life so miserable for the Arabs living under the Israeli thumb that they'll self-deport.
