Any time you have the ball on the half yard line and you have a RB nicknamed beats mode for his ability to shed tackles, you just have to throw a dangerous slant.  That was idiotic and unforgivable.

Yeah.  Carroll ought to lose his job over that.  I could see maybe doing that on third down or if the Seahawks had less time and no timeout, but on second down with plenty of time to go, that pass made zero sense.
