Perhaps this is more disturbing if you believe this source that 1.5 million AR-15 magazines are on backorder

If I owned an AR-15, I'd likely be ordering spare magazines right now too.  While a ban on the manufacture and sale of new large capacity magazines might be passed, there's no way that any sort of confiscation of the ones already sold will pass or that if it did it would be effective.
