If we didn't have a Governor's race as well, we wouldn't be getting any polls on the Senate race.

You're getting polls for the Senate race because of the novelty value of Greene's candidacy. If Rawl were the Dem nominee, the race wouldn't be polled.

All four of the polls in the database so far have been done in conjunction with a poll done for the Gubernatorial race.  Two of those were DeMint v. Rawl polls when it seemed obvious that Rawl would be the Democratic nominee. Even before Greene won the primary it was so obvious that DeMint was going to win, so that refutes your thesis.

Is Dgov a troll or a joke or something?

Um No.  Look at the crosstabs:  it says 51% of Black support Green, with 32% more undecided.  Unless there's an "Undecided #2" option, DeMint is picking up 17% of the Black Vote using simple math.

On Election Day, DeMint will be happy to get 5% of Blacks.

The other question is: How many Blacks will turn out ... Tongue

Since this is a Likely Voter poll, DeMint's percentage of Black support may be due to a decrease in Black Democrats planning on voting in this race.
