I wore uniforms for twelve years. I had no problem with them. I think it's a great idea. That being said, I'm glad I get to wear whatever I want in college.

Heh, actually not totally untrue. My parents did marijuana back in the 70's, now my mom is against medical marijuana.

That's my point. I agree that they oppose it now. I was being sarcastic about their reasoning.

No, I just don't usually wear them. Dunno why.

I just wore out a pair of Etnies last year.  And I replaced them with a pair of Pumas since I'm such a goddamned trend whore.

Most of the time, I just wear running shoes because I hate keeping a separate pair in my gym bag.  I got chewed out a couple times in '04 by Romney staffers for wearing sneakers with my suit.

I'll probably buy a pair of Pumas when my current pair of sneakers have seen their last days. It will be bitter sweet. I'll buy Puma since I have enough of their stuff now anyway. Why is that?

Because they do all of the clothing and gear for the Italian team, of course.
