Not a single proposition in any state passed on the freedom side.

Marijuana was NOT legalized in Alaska.

Yes, because the ability to get high is so important to fighting fascism (note: I support legalization).

Gay marriage bans passed everywhere, interfering with the lives of many gay Americans and their friends.

They couldn't marry before, and still can't marry.  No rights were lost here.  These bans are useless, but they don't make the nation any less free.

California passed the huge 3 billion dollar stem cell boondoggle, another hit to the free market.

It's not like CA forbade private enterprise from doing stem cell research.  If CA taxpayers want to throw their money away, who are we to stop them.

You do have a point, but I think you're overreacting.

It's Christians imposing their morals on others.  Like if Islamists took over your state and forced the women to wear veils.  I don't see a difference.

Amerikans are the new fascists of this country, and I've seen it slept with a 't' and a 'd'.

Maybe you have seen it spelled with a "D" instead of a T on a chessy Hallmark greeting card for someones Graduation.  It is Congratulations.

What are you, some kind of fascist, imposing your spelling on others?

Marijuana shouldn't be legalized...

I think the states should at least be able to decide for themselves.  Currently, even if the measures did pass in Alaska and... what was the other state?... the DEA would still bust down your door.

Stem-cell research will do wonders to curing diseases and saving lives in the future.  Schwarzenegger has put the state back on the right track.

We are talking about creating human beings for the express purpose of doing experiments on them and destroying them.  Think about the implications of that.  Think hard.  Anyone who comes to a quick opinion on this issue, on either side, hasn't thought hard enough.

I believe that gays should get the same rights as married people, just not under the term "marriage."

I can get with that.  I mean, I do sympathize with people wanting to choose who to share their property with, give inheritance to, give hospital visitation rights to, etc.  I think there is a fundamental right for people to choose who they want in their family.  But it isn't marriage.
