I would imagine it also depends on if you move there, make it your permanent home and live and work for awhile before running. Nobody trusts the guy who moves states and immediately runs for office.

Like Hillary moving to Chappaqua?

Seems they wanted her there, plus she's still living there. Not like Scott Brown, but you have CDS so it's understandable.
Really scratching the bottom of the barrel to prove Santander wrong, eh?

No? Carpetbagged to MA, pulled a massive tiny upset, then got rejected. Then crawled back to NH when they said they didn't want him and got rejected again. Perfect example, now he's not wanted anywhere. I'm sure if he came to FL and said "white power" you guys would love him though.
I don't know how us honkies would feel about that, but just about every Cuban I know would get on board.
