OP is right and this isn't doomerism. Democrats are a pathetic, weak-kneed worthless party.
There's a reason 80% of the population agrees with democrats on most issues yet nothing gets done about it. And the blame is mostly Democratic politicians who care more about their own ambitions than the causes they tell everyone are so important. Every impotent worthless Democrat should be primaries until there are 230 Dem congressmen who fight the right like Eric Swalwell does. I don't even agree with Dems on pretty much any fiscal issue but they have let the GOP terrorize this country long enough.

? He's one of the few Dems in congress with any fight. He is suing Mo Brooks. He is the closest thing to an attack dog the left has right now.

Swalwell's voting record is to the left of the average citizen on most issues. The point wasn't how far left he is. The point is that he's one of the few congressmen who has been aggressive against the GOP's bull****.
Saying dumb things about nuking people and sleeping with Chinese spies doesn't make you left.
