One New Democrat picking another New Democrat as his running mate. No surprise.

Where’s all this Karen Bass hate coming from? She’s more qualified than Demings and KLB, yet a lot of the posters pushing those 2 are tearing her down.

She's not neoliberal enough for the neoliberal purity trolls.

Honestly, her vote on the defense budget cuts is irrelevant. She's had the MOST progressive voting record in the Senate since she assumed office in 2017.

Also, she explained that the reason she voted against the amendment was that the cuts were too broad. She stated that she supports more targeted cuts and that she would support such measures in the future.

Also, the amendment wasn't going to pass anyways it was more of a "show" amendment.

Oh yes, total workhorse Kamala Harris concentrating on the issues that matter like trying to get Twitter to ban Trump's account.

Not a good look for Rice here, Trump would feast on it.

At 44 years old, Rice was the wealthiest person in the entire Obama Cabinet upon her appointment in 2009. Her net worth clocked in between $23.5 million and $43.5 million, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics. That made her richer even than Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Rice is almost certainly richer now than she was in 2009, though we don’t know where that wealth is coming from. But if that money was enough to functionally disqualify her from secretary of state in 2012, it should certainly have an impact upon deciding her fitness for a higher role.

Biden deserves to lose if he picks Rice.

Biden absolutely deserves to lose, but Trump self destructed too hard for that.

This is interesting - didn't see this back on 6/30, but someone just RTed it. They were doing thorough research on woman of color in particular:

Note that these are all neoliberal and it's a different Barbara Lee from the congresswoman.
