In what year?

1920: Hoover easily defeats FDR, seeing how Hoover is a national hero who saved urope from starvation and then mobilized the U.S. in fuel conservation and food preservation from 1917-1921.

1928: Hoover once again easily defeats FDR.

1932 and 1936: FDR would win given the Depression and how well he could play the role of "man of the people".

1840: Possible comeback if Hoover would extol "Vote for Roosevelt and Vote for War" or seomething along that line.

I assume you meant 1940, not 1840. There's no way that Hoover could have won a Presidential election again until at least 1972, and even then, McGovern would likely beat him.

Your "knowledge" of history is always good for a laugh Jfern. Try reading about Hoover before you bash him.

FDR, Truman, Stevenson, JFK, LBJ, and Humphrey would just run against Hoover's economic record and win. Humphrey only barely lost to Nixon, and Stevenson only got his butt kicked because he was running against Eisenhower.
