The 2020 election will be a choice between a Putin agent and a Bashar Assad/Modi agent.

...or maybe it's possible that there might actually be relevant issues besides who the candidate endorsed in 2016. DailyKos was a pretty pro-Sanders site and they hate Tulsi as much as they hated Joe Lieberman in 2006.

All the Bernie people left DailyKos after Kos decided the primary was over in March and started banning people who criticized Hillary. It's another establishment hack site now.

If you think that Spain sunk the Maine, North Vietnam started the Gulf of Tonkin incident, and that Iraq had WMD, you will be very mad at Gabbard here.

If you think the Ukrainians shot down MH-17, there are no Russian forces in eastern Ukraine, and Russia didn't hack the US election, you will agree with Gabbard here.

Well, the 3rd one is true, Russia didn't hack the election.

Clinton hack Neera Tanden & Former Dem leader & current lobbyist Howard Dean are asking for Gabbard to be defeated in a primary.

"People of Hawaii's 2nd District -- was it not enough for you that your rep met with a murderous dictator? Will this move you?" Tanden tweeted Friday in response to Gabbard's comments on CNN that she is "skeptical" Assad is responsible for the chemical attack.

Dean compared Gabbard's comments to President Donald Trump's Twitter blasts. "This is a disgrace. Gabbard should not be in Congress," the former Vermont governor tweeted. He later added, "She sounds like Trump making excuses."

Neera Tanden is on a Twitter spree. I don't agree with Gabbard here but I remember in Wikileaks exposing Tanden & others that all funding will be pulled from Gabbard & her being threatened about her political career. The power hungry Clinton machine maintains a hit list of political opponents who have refused to toe the line & it looks like Gabbard may be top of the list.

The establishment tolerates no dissent. They are the real purity trolls.

She's got the following going for her for 2020

1) Youth
2) Military Experience
3) "Outsideryness/Berniecrat"
4) POC
5) Woman

She has the following working against her
1) Hawaii 2nd (no sizable base)
2) House of Reps for two terms (no experience)
3) Batsh**te crazy foreign policy
4) Better "Berniecrat" options (Warren in particular) with more consistent progressive records

I see no reason to think the first five outweigh the last four.... not even close.

It's batsh**t crazy to say that taking out Assad helps ISIS?

Food for thought for anyone who thinks she can milk the Syria strike to win the nomination:

I don't think she's going to win the nomination, but I'm confused about what that poll is supposed to prove.  I'm pretty sure Gabbard agrees that Trump lacks a clear plan for Syria, and the poll shows that a narrow plurality of Dems disapprove of the attack.  So why would Gabbard being staunchly against the attack be a loser for her?

It means that she already has lost 45%. It takes less than 10% of the rest who are either unsure or disapprove of the attack (hmmm, how many people on here are staunchly anti-her and disapprove of the attack? At least 10%?) and then also consider how many of those 48% are black or other type of voters not very inclined to her...her ceiling is pretty low.

Are you dumb or just ignorant? As people learn about the strikes the poll numbers will drop like a rock, this is basically the ceiling for support. If we get into a war it will just be Iraq all over again. This will not hurt Tulsi, if anything it will backfire on the establishment.

To add to your point, an April 2003 ABC poll had 75% approving of Bush's handling of the Iraq war.
