he'll still be nominated  it will just take most of the calendar and tens of millions more to do it.

Winning the nomination after an ugly scorched earth primary would truly be a pyrrhic victory. The Democrats blew the 2006 California gubernatorial race, and it looks like the Republicans are blowing the 2012 Presidential election.
